Grants cover up to 50% of your approved member solution contract cost up to $25,000. Make An Impact will be awarding a minimum of 10 grants per cycle.

This program is built for organizations already in motion.  If that’s you, here’s what you’ll need to apply.

Be a current member of Make An Impact. Interested in the grant and have questions? Please contact our Director of Membership, Lisa Harris, at lisa@makeanimpact.org

Be a nonprofit organization in operation for at least 2 years.

Provide proof of current 501(c)(3) status or a fiscal sponsor letter.

Provide your most recent audited or CPA-reviewed financial statement.

Select a member solution from the official approved list.

Contribute at least 50% of the total contract cost.

Make An Impact Grants Program – Quick FAQ 

  • The Make An Impact Grant Program invests in the organizational capacity of our members. By offsetting up to 50% of the cost (no greater than $25,000) of approved member solutions and services from our partners, we help nonprofits access tools they need to operate effectively and deepen their community impact.  

  • ​A total of $250,000 is available for this cycle, with a minimum of 10 grants awarded. Individual awards cover up to 50% of total project costs, up to $25,000 per award. 

  • Funding supports projects that build organizational capacity and deepens community impact. Eligible areas include, but are not limited to: 

    • Financial advisory & risk management  (e.g., fractional CFO services)  

    • Technology, Data, and AI Solutions  (Clinical or program documentation e.g., AI-assisted solutions) 

    • Strategic planning and consulting  

    • Fundraising and marketing  

    • Workforce training and operational tools 

    NOTE:  All funded projects must include an approved member solutions. See the full partner list HERE

  • Yes. All projects must include an approved member solution, though you can submit a new member solution for review. Recommend a new member solution

    4. Connect with a partner and request a quote. 

    5. Define your project scope and budget.  

    6. Submit your application.

  • Yes. A formal quote from one of our approved member solutions is required as part of your application.

    • Current Make An Impact members  

    • Be a nonprofit organization in operation for at least 2 years

    • 501c3 nonprofit organizations, or fiscally sponsored 

    • Organizations with a demonstrated need, a focused project and secured funding for at least 50% of project expenses

  • No.​

  • Yes, you will be required to provide proof of sponsorship during the application process.

  • Funds must be used within 12 months of award date. Project start dates are recommended after award notification.

  • Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:  

    • Project clarity and feasibility: Is the project well-defined with a realistic scope and budget? 

    • Expected impact:  Will it meaningfully strengthen your organization's capacity or community reach?  

    • Organizational readiness: Does your team have what it needs to execute successfully? 

    • Strength of partner fit: Is the selected partner the right solution for your project goals? 

  • These free live sessions are your chance to learn about the grant program, meet approved partners, and explore member solutions before you apply. Each session includes a program overview and partner presentations. 

    • May 6 (12–1 PM ET)  REGISTER HERE. 

    • May 7 (12-1 PM ET) REGISTER HERE. 

    Includes introduction to program and presentations for Q&A. The showcases will be recorded and published on our site afterwards.
